WOOLIES SELLS EXPIRED AND STALE FOOD IN SOWETO!!

I bought bran rusks at Woolworths Maponya Mall and wow the rusks best before is 11 June 2023. Even the crunchiness of the rusks is NOT THERE. THEY ARE STALE ! How could this happen? Why aren’t safety checks done for the food we buy? Can someone just explain this to me?
