Woolies sells apples with worms

Woolworths really doesn't even deserve the 1 star rating i am forced to give them in this review.

I have contacted Woolworths customer care numerous times regarding a lack of quality in their products, only to have no response whatsoever.

Amongst the many bad quality products we received after purchasing at stores countrywide, the most recent being fruit. My 2 year old daughter bit into a top red apple purchased from a woolies store that day, only to find it rotten inside with worms crawling inside. She spent almost 2 hours throwing up that night and i was so worried about her needing medical attention. Being 2, she didn't realise she should eat it until she got a terrible taste in her mouth and complained to me. I have emailed the customer care contact email online and to date have not received any response. Do they even care that they are delivering rotten food to us and lets face it, their prices are no joke. So we expect quality.
