On the 09th December I was purchasing some items at woolies, however when exiting the store the security sensors went off. I was then asked by back the security personnel to come back to the store, they asked for my parcel and I also gave them my til slip. This was highly embarrassing as customers were starting to stare and I was rushing off to a function.

While the one security guard was checking my woolies newly bought goods the other guy came over to me and started opening my back pack. I nicely told him that he cant open my bag without my permission he needs to ask, I allowed him to open it and after doing thier investigation they told me I could go, at this point I was highly fustrated and asked to speak to the manager.

I asked to see the manager andI told him of my experience he was just so cavalier and told me that one of the cashiers did not do what they should have done. In the mean time I was shaking and so upset I couldnt even speak I simply just walked away troubled and couldnt speak.

I recently went back to the store to pay my account which is update and felt really uncomfortable & decided to lay a formal complaint. I decided to phone the complaints line in Cape Town (09-01-17) and spoke to an agent by the name of Akhona Mogatle, she said in return someone from Woolies would address this issue. It is now Friday (13-01-17) still no one has contacted me.I am highly distured by this as I shop at woolies not only for their produts but thier service as well. I have an account with woolies. i'd like to matter to be addressed as I feel I was treated in an appalling manner.
