Woolies Hyde Park Corner ****** Service
Good day,
Today, 29th of April 2021, my mother and I were at a Woolworths in Hyde Park Corner. My mother, who happens to be walking on crutches, placed an order for coffee at their coffee shop between 14h30 and 14h50. As the barista was about to make the coffee, another client, who happens to be white, placed her order for coffee after my mother had placed hers. The barista served the white client who placed her order after my mother’s first. Gave the lady her 2 coffees and only then he began to make my mother’s coffee, again, who is walking on crutches and was the first to place her order.
Please advise if the Woolies in Hyde Park Corner has a preference for white clients to be a priority above black clients.
I find the baristas behaviour unacceptable and shameful. What makes it even more sad is that the barista is black, which clearly indicates that he hates himself as a black person, unless that is the training the store gives to their stuff.
