Woolies Dash is spamming me with no way to turn it off

The Woolies dash app has no way of turning off marketing notifications without turning off notifications necessary for it to function. I asked customer support about this and they barely understood that I wanted to opt out of marketing communication for *push notifications* while still being able to use the app. The ability to opt out of marketing communications on my device is protected by law.
