Woolies brand dragged through the mud

Absolutely disgusting and pathetic how the Woolworths brand is tarnished at the Tahero service station in Witpoortjie Gauteng. On 11 July I rushed to the store to buy a few items before load shedding on a very cold evening. I was stopped by the door by the security who told me that I cannot enter the store as I had a gown on. I ignored him and proceeded to collect the items I needed. Stood in a very long queue while listening to the staff discuss me in Zulu, exact translation " you don't worry, leave this colored b***h non of us will serve her, she thinks she's clever." Lord knows I'm dealing with too much to even entertain such, still very confused and baffled while watching the security stop a gentleman at the door begging to just buy bread because he too was wearing a gown. And when I got to the till, the cashier Julia says to me askies didn't they tell you that you can't come in here with a gown. My response was my darling I'm exhausted it's been the longest coldest day, please let me pay for my stuff and leave. Her response, sorry sisi get out the store we can't serve you. At that point a petrol attendant was at a little window and immediately I said, Julia can I please atleast then go to that window outside and you serve me from there please I honestly cannot go all the way to pick and pay. She didn't answer so I let the basket in the store and went to the window. There I said Julia my basket is behind you, please can I pay for it and please included Malbaro beyond blue and Peter Stuyvesant blue. I repeated myself 3 times. She clicked her tongue the proceeded to serve me. Too this day I'm shocked. Immediately when got homeI made a few calls as I even feeling some type of way as I have never ever been on the streets with my Pj's. It's so sad how Engen staff under the Woolworths brand treat customers. I shop at woolies every single month without fail, not only because of the quality but mainly their spectacular service. Clearly Engen does train their staff and or do things at the woolies level. Yo shame woolies you must know that you in bed with a full on STD to your phenomenal brand.
