Wollworths *******

I realise that I am at fault for not reading all emails that come into my inbox. In June this year Woolworths sent an email stating that from July 2024 they will be charging all account holders a monthly management fee of R47.50. I only found out when a friend mentioned it to me. Are they allowed to just bill you without you acknowledging receipt of the email. Is this even legal,
