Why pay extra for next day delivery when you won’t get you packages?😡😡😡

My partner and I bought clothing from Woolworths online and PAID for NEXT DAY delivery, this was LAST WEEK WEDNESDAY and we are yet to receive our delivery over a WEEK LATER. We have called the customer resolve service and we only been told that the issue has been escalated and would take 48 to be solved, this is the same response we received after calling in twice and giving them the 48 to come back to us but still nothing.
