Where's My Money!!!!

I am so disgusted by the service I received from Woolworths, which is the only account I have and my faith and trust that I had, has diminished, because I am so upset at the customer service I received.

My first interaction I had was with a CSA Laverne that never displayed any empathy at all when I received a call and was questioned as to why I am unable to make a payment.

I explained thoroughly to her that I am on maternity leave and only returning to work in January. Her reply to me was, ‘when can I then make the payment’. This is despicable no forbearance, no empathy, no emotion just plainly wanting to get the money out of ME.

I then made payments from February. As maternity leave is 4 months in my company I still managed to make payments up until October when I was on UNPAID maternity leave. I continued making payments little by little from Feb onwards.

I did this my internet banking. I used the bank details that are available on the website which is the only bank details available, even when you select the option ‘payment options’, there is no other bank details available on the site. This bank information you can find on the letters as well.

I have been told by a group called ARA that is a DCA for Woolworths that my account had been handed over since the 15 April 2017.

However I made payments, I just never received any confirmation that I will receive it.

I then contact Woolworths today on the 17/05/2017, spoke to a CSA Aneesa who then explained to me that I made the payment to an incorrect bank account, SO WHY THE HELL HAVE THE BANK DETAILS ON THE WEBSITE AND ON YOUR LETTERS.

She asked me to resent the proof of payments to the email addresses I have used before, when I make EFT payments.

Before I resent it I asked can I get a call back, her words to me was…’we an inbound contact centre we cannot make outbound calls’ hahahhahahee like what the hell again…I’m telling you I’m concerned you will not receive my proof, I would want some confirmation, to be told that I should call back.

So this is my queue to Woolworths:

Make you agents understand that they should display some sort of empathy and sound sincere.

Create forbearance tools an make arrangements with your customer’s if you such a large company create holds for accounts, for people like myself that went on unpaid maternity leave as you a financial institution and you should really try and put your customer’s first. They are the reason why you are operating.

Lastly do not create misperceptions; this is with regards to your bank information that is apparently incorrect.

I am so disappointed, I had high hopes, and I would not recommend you to any family or friends. I will simply never forget the bad experience I had with Woolworths.
