What does SETTLEMENT AMOUNT means??? Ask Woolworths...

Do you know that if you phone woolworths for a settlement amount to settle your credit card, APPARENTLY it EXCLUDES your budget facility?!?! Just, they keep it a secret, and you only realise it when you see that the debit order went off earlier today... When I phoned to enquire, I was informed that it EXCLUDES my budget facility.. I'm confused about what SETTLEMENT AMOUNT then means.. If someone could just clear with me for future...???I'm so done with Woolworths after this!
