VROT MEAT AT WOOLWORTHS HARTBEE****RT

I bought just before closing time last Friday lamb chops to the value of R 173 (1 packet). I left it overnight in my fridge as I planned to have a braai for lunch on the Saturday. after removing 2 chops for myself (I live alone) from the package when making a braai for lunch THE NEXT DAY I put the rest of the packet back into my fridge so I could later after lunch put the rest of the chops in freezer bags for the freezer. However 2 hours later approx. (after lunch) +- 15:00 when I took it out of the fridge I noticed that a large number of brown discolouring had occurred over most of the chops but I kept on splitting it up into different freezer bags but as soon as I came to the chops that was just under the top chops (sorry it was not packed flat in the grocery bag by your till attendant so the chops where all huddled into a clump on the bottom of the container iso flat all over the container as when you buy it put flat, so as said whilst I was packaging the next two chops I smelled this rotten smell. At first I could not think that it came from the chops for goodness sake I bought it just yesterday and BB date was only the next day (Sunday) and it was all nice and red when I bought it and even now some places were still red but upon bringing it to my nose I could smell it was the chops. Now the next day is Sunday and there is no way in heaven or earth that I was going to drive 70km to Woolies and back from Skeerpoort standing at the dam wall for 4 hours so I tried to call Woolworths but the line just rang and rang. I then took a photo of the package with some of the chops already put in freezer bags and the rest not and I actually sent my son a whatts app message to tell him how ********** this whole episode was - by paying that amount for meat that is not fresh - are woollies putting saltpetre on your meats so that it can look fresh longer? because that is what I think as how can chops go brown that fast after being opened and still being kept in the fridge all the time?!! Anyway on Monday and Tuesday I was at a course and I could only get to Woolies again on Wednesday 31 October and I then went to the customer care and told them my story. they called a "supervisor" of I think the clothing dept as the supervisor of the food dept was not there. After having to explain the whole situation now FOR THE 20th TIME to the 20th person all of a sudden this man CLICKED "ooooh the meat is not coming from the freezer" REALLY? is that ALL he got from my story? well long story short during my 30 min with him and the others I was continually told I cannot be refunded because I did not bring the package with me - of which I have been telling them for 30 min I am NOT putting that stinking meat in my 750i BMW stinking up my car as it had ALREADY stank up my fridge (gone into my 2 litre organic milk that I paid R35 for!!!! etc etc (it is now covered with more than 1 plastic bag) so I said if you want it then you have to come fetch it from my house. he said he would arrange for permission to come fetch it and even though I contacted him on 1 November again and he told me that he was still waiting for permission and me telling him I think he should call again because OBVIOUSLY he is not going to get an answer, today 3 NOVEMBER I still haven't hear 1 WORD from NINI. Woolworths I SPEND THOUSANDS OF RANDS AT WOOLWORTHS STORES EVERY MONTH IF THIS IS THE SERVICE I GET THEN YOU CAN KEEP YOUR BUSINESS AND I WILL GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Also WHY IS IT ALWAYS JUST AT HARTBEE****RT BRANCH ONE HAS THIS PROBLEM??? I remember the previous article I had to return was the rice that had to be returned because of Listeriosis. the 1 package was open and the other one was still unopened. This idiot woman at Hartbee****rt kept me ALMOST AN HOUR standing there trying to return it SHE JUST COULD NOT GET IT IN HER HEAD THAT IT WAS RECALLED - she asked me a 1000 times where was my slip and she kept on sniffing and trying to look into the opened package also 1000 times, in the end I got so annoyed (as an ME sufferer I cannot stand on my feet for an hour) in the end I told her to call the shop manager and it took her about 20 minutes before she would do that and even this person did not know about the requested return of the rice for listeriosis but at least she after another 10 minutes phoned somewhere and then told this one to take the rice back, AND EVEN THEN this one helping me was now ARGUING with her LOUD AND CLEAR so almost the WHOLE OF WOOLWORTHS (and it is a large shop) WAS NOW STANDING STILL AND LISTENING TO THIS LOOKING AT ME AS IF I AM SOME PIECE OF RAG TAG THAT WAS DRAGGED INTO THE SHOP. Like I said if this is the way you want to treat me as one of your BEST CLIENTS, let me know and I will take my business somewhere else.
