Very unhappy frustrated consumer
I was retrenched end of June 2020. I reached out to Woolworths Kenilworth center with all required doc's, which I submitted on the 27th of August 2020. I had to wait for approval from Insurance which was only done on the 7th of October 2020 and at that stage they agreed to pay the backlog asof end of July 2020. There was no missed payment listed at the credit bureau at that stage. The gentleman I spoke to Ashley then advised me the insurance will cover 1st 6months and that I have to resubmit after the 1st 6 months the following documents. Sworn avidavid,3months bank statement. I received no communication from the insurance after I resubmitted my documents as per woolworths request. I have since been contacted by collections countless times for payment of which I informed them that I am still unemployed and that I have submitted the documents at the Kenilworth branch. I have recently discovered that I was listed on the credit bureau for missed payments, which I feel is unfair as their process is not conducive to the consumer and the fact that I have been following up and playing my part as advised. I feel that I have been done an injustice. It is not my fault that Woolworths has loopholes in their system. In the 1st phase of the retrenchment the insurance agreed to cover the backlog and I was not listed then for missed payments. The 2nd time around however they still maintained they have a backlog and now they have gone and listed me. It so unfair that the consumer had to be impacted by such negativity after we came through the pandemic and still going through it. I would like to request that someone who is able to resolve this issue contact me back *** and also clear my name from ITC. I also have all the dates and staff names I spoke to during all my visits and phone calls to resolve this issue.
