VERY BAD SERVICE

Recently, we’ve experienced very inconsistent and unreliable service when ordering via the Woolworths app. Despite frequent upgrades, customers continue to face frustrating issues because their IT department simply cannot get the basics right or make the app user-friendly.

On special occasions like Mother’s Day, you’d expect a smooth, reliable experience when sending your mother something thoughtful like flowers and chocolates. Instead, we got chaos.

It’s a shame that customer service can’t step up. Consultants can’t even distinguish between an order placed via the app and the confirmation email a customer receives. They’re often hostile, interrupt constantly, and show a shocking lack of product knowledge or professionalism.

When you call, you’re met with “high call volumes,” and then the call is dropped right in your ear. You call back, only to have to repeat the entire painful story again—only for them to cancel your order in the end, with zero resolution.

To make matters worse, your money takes days to reflect back in your account. But why would Woolies care? It’s not their time or money being wasted.

We order from Woolworths at least three times a week. And yet this is how loyal customers are treated.

Woolies shouts “CONVENIENCE”?

No, Woolies, what you actually deliver is:

INCONVENIENCE. INCOMPETENCE. NEGLECT. NO FOLLOW-THROUGH.

WOOLIES: “BAD SERVICE WITH NO CUSTOMER CARE” SHOULD BE YOUR NEW SLOGAN
