Varying prices

On the 09th of August I went to Woolwoths in Trade Route Mall in Lenasia to buy school shoes for my daughter. On my way to the tills I saw male shoes marked with the red sticker'' Sale R299''. I took the shoes with excitement. I asked the lady who works there who was standing next to me about the shoes and I wanted her to help me get right size. But the lady told me the shoes are not on sale but she was not sure. She called someone who works in the shoe department to verify. The lady who works in the shoe department quickly removed the sale sticker and they told me that the price is R799. They called the store manager and he explained to me what could have happened and he refused me to take the picure of the shoes with the lower price. I was not happy because the price that I see is the price I should pay. According to Consumer Protection Act (CPA) I have the right to paying the lower price for goods displaying two varying prices. I am not happy about the service I received at Woolwoths and I intend to take this matter further if it is not resolved urgently.
