Unprofessional attitude
I recently visited Woolworths la lucia on 24th I made purchases on if the purchases been the De Villiers chocolate which was as advertised ( any 4 for R100 ) at till point it scanned at 39.99 each I queried the manager came went to check on item which was in the same aisle as till point he took a whole 5mins to return and said the the milk variant is only 4 for R100 I asked for a credit he goes to the cashier a Nothando Ngcobo and speaking in Zulu and mocks me regarding the credit she has a good laugh at my expense I found this behavior and attitude of a manager very unprofessional and offensive to me I do understand a bit of Zulu, if was made to feel like an idiot when woolworths doesn't advertise properly if they stated specifically (any 4 milk variants for R100) that is understandable, this is not the 1st time woolworths are not specific with their advertising as I have had friends with same issues only they were not treated in a condescending manner. I further know about the cpa act of 2009 if adverti*****t not correctly specified customers have a right to get item as advertised. I didn't want to stress on this as in covid I don't like spending unnecessary time in shops as I was already waiting long enough for the manager to price item and I was in a hurry. Till this date my credit has not been passed it normally goes off immediately or a day later it not on a pending transaction on my banking app either. 3 emails to woolworths customer care and no response not even an acknowledgment email or a call nothing. This coming from a huge organization that prides itself on quality. What a shame they don't have quality staff or service.
