Unprofessional and disappointing service from Woolworths

I placed an online order no last night. Booked a delivery time-slot for 10AM to 12AM today. Received a mail at 10:09 AM informing me that the order is being processed. When I did not receive the order by 13:43 I called customer services only to be told that there was a problem and the order would be delivered tomorrow. Not making the booked time slot and not contacting me regarding this is highly unprofessional. If I had not called them myself then I would never have known that they changed the delivery time. I planned to use some of these items for an event this evening. Really disappointing service. Guess I shouldn't be surprised that Woolworths has some of the worst reviews on this site.
