Unnecessary charges

Good day, I need someone to explain account charges that are over R500 pm on my account. My installment is R745 but i pay R800, buy a a thing or two for R200 then the rest of the installment is debited cause of charges. In 2 months that is like over a R1000 of what???? Couldn't i have done done something for myself with that R1000. This is ridiculous its like 3 steps forward 7 steps backwards for me. How can i pay so much money just for an account monthly charges to make matters worse i never skip a month without paying my account, which i even exceed the requested installment.
