UNHAPPY WOOLWORTHS SERVICE

My wife bought me a pair of shoes 1 day before my birthday I'm March. they were a size too small so I tried to exchange them in APRIL. I was told by 2 x stores that the item value was R 0.01 & that I could not exchange the goods. I did not want a refund I wanted to purchase a bigger shoe that WAS MORE EXPENSIVE. We were told by Woolworths GREENSTONE that the shoes were bought on sale ( which they were NOT...... there is no indication at all on the purchase slip that these shoes had been discounted ) there may have been a sale going on on this date - but it so happened to be 1 day before my birthday that the shoes were bought. the till slip clearly states that a refund can be done WITHIN 60 days - I am still in this timeframe as I write this complaint. It's ****** annoying - the shoes cost R 400.00 & now I can do nothing with them - I happen to have 2 daughters & no sons. This is really a poor show from a REPUTABLE COMPANY such as WOOLWORTHS - & I would have expected better from them... Who know if I will get a reply.

Disappointed soon to be EX WOOLWORTHS SHOPPER !!
