Unhappy customer

I bought girls sneakers in December, size 4, at the time my daughter was in Phalaborwa. They were a bit tight, we couldn't find size 5 in Phalaborwa. when she got back to Polokwane, I went to the store to get a bigger size, was assisted by Jane. She said they were not clean and couldn't accept them. She called Maria," the PPC", she told me she couldn't accept them as they were not in what she called "reselleable condition" which according to me was unfair as the sneakers are white and the only dirt was that of fitting which could be clearly seen from under the soles. The rest was from pure touching. The inside according to Maria was still clean. I asked what I should do with them she said she doesn't know maybe I should sell them.
