Unhappy customer

I first called on 09/11/2020 and requested to change my mobile number as I cannot so on the app and I’m no longer using the number on record. I spoke to a lady who asked security questions and told me it will be changed in 10 mins. I checked after 10 mins number is not changed, I gave it a day and checked today my number is still not changed! I called again today and spoke to Amid on ref number *** and he said my number is changed. I logged in on app and my number is still NOT changed. I’m really losing my patience. How long does it take to change a mobile number?
