Unhappy Customer

<p>I have an account at Woolworths which I pay off in full every month. </p> <p>I have just received the March account and there was an amount of R31 for interest charged so I called Woolworths. I was informed that I had paid 23 cents short on my last payment and therefore charged 20% interest on the total amount owing.</p> <p>I looked at the account and yes that was indeed correct i had made a mistake.</p> <p>I queried the amount of interest R31 on 23cents! surely that was not right or even legal and i was informed it was.</p> <p>I informed the consultant that I would be closing my account as I objected to paying the interest.</p> <p>Did this have any effect ....no.</p> <p> </p> <p>Woolworths you have lost a long standing good customer.</p> <p> </p>
