Unhappy 1st time and last tine customer

Good day. Im a very disappointed eith Woolwoorths Somerset Mall. I was told today an item i have purchased could not be returned or refunded because it is older than three months. The item is a maternity bag R430 it has te tags on and never been used. According to my knowledge the consumer act makes provisions for the return of goods. May closing my account and advising my friends and family of the disgusting service is the way to go. To think our instution and employees all deal with woolies. Maybe going to the media will resolve the issue and losing customers in the process.
