Unfairly treated and handed over to attorneys

I am very disappointed and let down........I learnt that Woolworths has given my account over to attorneys!? When I got in contact with Woolworths I was told they cannot see anything on their side and nothing outstanding and provided me with a number for the attorneys. I called the attorneys which then advised I should contact the store I bought from (which I am not sure about). After getting in touch with a store it might be, they tell me that they do not have access to such information and I should phone head office. I call the head office again and the lady half frustrated tells me my account is no longer with Woolworths and the attorneys have taken over. I then asked the lady to just provide me with a date and amount as I have no idea when I used my card and when. Surely they should have it if they handed it over. "No sorry mam we have no details". I then contact the attorneys again after investigating when last I used my Woolworths card in store. I spoke to Sandile from the attorneys and he gave me a figure of R158. He advised that this is the amount outstanding + financial charges. It was 2015 and I paid the full amount in Nov 2015. I have the proof. If it was anything prior to 2015, I received no communication on email or phone or postal and would have seen it on my 2015 statement. I am disgusted and let down. I get handed over for something I paid long ago. Woolworths won't be seeing me again. I am disappointed by the way this matter was handled and now I have to get my name cleared for something I paid. I never make debt and just for using my card once got me in trouble. No one is able to assist and I get transferred and referred to different places and people all the time.
