Unfair treatment Woolworth/Fusion
I requested a settlement letter from an agent at Fusion sent me an email regarding the request on the 26th, on the 27th I paid the amount that I got on email, 30th August I sent Fusion an email requesting a conformation letter. To my surprise they are now telling me that it is not what was agreed upon and I fail to understand, what they mean.
They Fusion is saying, there was no agreement done by themselves as the agent didn’t log in that information, and they are telling that the email(their email) didn’t have a letterhead, my question is how is that my problem, shouldn’t that be an internal process. For that they say it’s not valid.
I am now told that I still owe Woolworth the full amount, regardless of the fact that i paid the amount that was stated on the letter email to me and they are refusing to send the confirmation settlement letter, this is definitely an ******ion on my side now.
Today I decided to go to N1 City Woolworth branch and I spoke one of the managers there, she then contacted head office and spoke to a lady by the name of Bronwyn and Bronwyn confirmed to Nstiki that the account was paid in full and the R4 775,32 has been written off and account is closed. I too spoke to her and she confirmed that an email was sent to Fusion today at 8:30am informing them that the account was paid up and the amount of R4 775,32 was there written off, as per the system and that my account has been closed. But she says that she is unable to inform fusion as email was sent to them.
I need to contact them for a clearance letter, when i contacted them again today, they said they NEVER received any email from Woolworth confirming what the lady at Woolworth said.
This is the worst service ever
