unfair treatment by the Manager
Friday 12/07/2019 after knocking off from work to get a fabric conditioner I went to Woolwoths Mall@Reds, as usual, it is close to my resident.
After getting what I wanted from the shelves I joined the queue, and unsuspectingly could feel that the person who was behind me was touching my bag and she stole my phone. Fortunately the lady in front of me could see what happened and she warned me. I immediately checked my bag and to my surprise the phone was gone. This lady showed me that this ***** had already left the queue, but was still inside the shop pretending to have forgotten something.
I screamed for help and called security and ask not to allow her to leave the shop because she has apparently stole my phone.
Security was very much quick attended the lady(*****), and they searched and found my phone, as this ***** had put it on top of pack tissues to hid it.
Some tall guy came and asked me to verify it it is indeed my phone, I checked and I verified it was my phone. This guy asked me and the ***** to stay behind while he goes and check the cctv camera. Thirty minutes after, a security guard came to take us to the back office. This tall guy who apparently was said to be the manager of the store, asked the ***** to be honest about *****ing the phone and this lady said yes, she did ***** the phone. The manager the said she has seen her doing this type of activity aparently on numerous shops and it wasn't the first time she has done this at Woolworths too.
To my surprise I grabbed the chair and said OMG, The maananger tthen rep**** to me and said what was that, do not act surprised because you are in this together...I have also seen you doing the same activity with her
I mean, this gut took thirty minutes to check the cctv camera, if he cannot read what is happening on the camera he shold have verified every movement from the experts. Secondly, accusing me in front of a stranger who stole my phone inside the shop. Thirdly showing no telling me that I am an accomplice in this, meanwhile I was the one who was the victim in this whole thing. i was the one who called the secutity to block the ***** not leave the store. I was not treated well at Woolworths Mall@Reds by the Manager.
I asked him why is this about me now, because I am the victim here.
The Manager then asked the lady if she knew me, and she said no. he then said I am sorry you can leave. I mean just like that. After accusing of of what, what exactly.
This whole incident was so embarrassing as I walked out to pay for my fabric conditioner I could hear Woolworths staff talking to each other saying that I am one of them, like really
I am one of the loyal Woolworths customers, but my experience at Woolworths Mall@Reds on Friday was one of the most terrible one, and I have never seen such incompetence in my entire life fro the Manager himself who embarrassed me
I am still angry and do not see myself going there anytime soon.
