unfair Return policy and terrible customer service

I bought sneakers and wore them once at work, the shoes were uncomfortable and caused me blisters. I then returned them at La Lucia Mall, I was told they no longer have the same sneakers in stock also the shoe has been worn so they can not exchange them for me. I asked to take another item or money back and they refused point blank. The Manager in customer service (Kurt) told me there must be a problem with my feet as no one returned the same sneakers I must give them away to somebody else as they can not take them back because of discomfort. When I asked for a store Manager he told me no other Managers are around he then told me to call head office if I have a problem with what he is explaining to me, I asked for him to hand me the landline phone so I can call head office regarding the return policy he told me I have to use my own phone as they are not allowed to give their landline phone to customers which was also new to me. I called head office with my phone and stated my case, the lady who assisted me told me to leave the sneakers at the shop they will get a shoe technician to assess the shoes and the store manager will get back to me. To date I have not received feedback from the store or from the Head office call center. I am really disappointed by the level of service I got from La Lucia Mall and from the Head office itself. As for quality of your products, it should not be a customer's problem if they are not happy with quality no matter what the return policy is.
