Tried to get a crediet card but was rejected

I was in arrears with my Woolworth's store card but paid that up on the 9 th of December 2014.Last month I went to apply for a credit card at westgatemall branch they told me iam still listed which iam not that is a moerse klap in a mans face everybody make mistakes in life and everybody deserves to get a second chance in life the consultant told me I should come again in next month so I dont know wot I should do need someone to contact me regarding my store profile and to tell me why I cant get a card
