Trenery Canvas sneaker that runs when washed

I bought a Trenery canvas sneaker from the Woolworths store in the V&A Waterfront on 28th March 2015. I recently washed them because they are white and get dirty quite easily and when I washed them with soap and water the brown colour on the supposedly leather lining around the sole of the shoe ran onto the white canvas damaging the shoe. The upper canvas now has a dirty brown look around it which does not look good.<br> <br> These shoes were very expensive, being Trenery and I didn't expect it to be of an inferior quality as this. The lining was clearly not leather, if the colour ran onto the white canvas. <br>
