Treated like a common ******** instead of a human being.

Today I accidentally left my wallet at home but I had my husband's cards with me. When I tried to pay for R69 worth of ice-cream, the teller asked me to sign the slip, instead of forging my husband's signature, I said "this is my husband's card". Immediately the person packing my bag emptied the bag and said "well then you can't buy!". They both spoke to each other and reversed the purchase without even giving me the option to pay cash. I was treated like some common ******** who had ****** the card and was now using it to buy ice-cream??? I called my husband there and then to explain that they won't let me buy it and they shoved a piece of paper in front of me and said "sign now!". I said that I don't see the point of signing anything because I'm not allowed to buy anything and the packer said "You will sign to prove that the payment was reversed" as though I was some kind of idiot! So I said, and if I just sign like this? (I just drew a circle) and she said "that's fine, it doesn't even matter."

I understand protocol and that some ********* use ****** cards, I do not understand why I was spoken to the way I was, treated like I don't deserve the elitist goods that Woolworths has to offer, obviously I don't have what it takes to be a customer. So I went back with my card, paid it in full and cancelled my card. I will never step foot into a Woolworths again. I will never wear anything from there or eat or drink any of their products. They made it clear that I am simply not good enough.
