Honeyridge Woolies used to be one of the best stores in the area but it is going down fast. I shop there twice a week and over the past year this store has really gone downhill.
1. The cold chain is not being maintained. Stock lies on pallets in the aisles for ages before being put in the fridges.
2. There is a staff till open for staff to purchase items at the busiest times so customers must stand in a long queue while a till is used for the staff. Surely this should be done when the store is quiet?
3. I have purchased several items over the past month that are rotten: shelf milk, feta, microwave veggies, custard.
4. The managers seem to change regularly. They never greet regular customers. Act like they are doing you a favour.
5. The cashiers pack food carelessly. You get home with squashed bread, broken yogurts etc...I now insist on packing my own goods. Plus cashiers pack boiling hot items such as pies on top of cold items such as meat. Very strange!
6. Often out of stock of essential items.
7. A lot of out of date stock on the shelves.
Just so disappointing as this used to be my favourite Woolies.
