They took my shoes and not responding as promised

On 23 Dec 2015 I bought a pair of shoes and three items from the store. When I got home after 8pm I realized that the one shoe had an anti theft device still attached on it. As I was travelling from the 24 - 27 Dec 2015 I left the shoes at home. When I got back on the 28 Dec 2015 I took the shoes back obviously complaining about the anti theft device that was not removed from the shoes. To my surprise, I was told that the barcode on the shoes and the one on the slip a different. And I was made to wait close to an hour for the customer care supervisor to do investigations at the back office. When she came back she took my shoes and my contact details to do further investigations and promised to get back to me the following day (29 Dec 2015). Almost two weeks later I am still waiting for the outcome and my R250 that I paid for the shoes that I currently don't have.<br> What annoys me is the manner in which the first thing that came to their mind is suspecting me of *****ing instead of affording me the benefit of doubt. I am interested in what their investigation will reveal
