THe Grove Woolies, disappoints again.

Slowest and least customer centric Woolies around: The Grove Woolies in Pretoria East.

Stood in express queue, took forever, when we eventually got to front’ish, asked if we can pay at another pay point when customer ahead of us had issue with payment and it resulted in supervisor being called etc. We were told by supervisor, standing next to cashier, we can go join the back of the main (general) queue, while she (supervisor) is laughing.

If this was a once off occurrence, no problem, but this is the culture in The Grove Woolies: the employees view customers as a given and nuisance. Certainly not their priority to make customer’ shopping experience positive. What a contrast to the Checkers store and its employees, in the same mall!
