Terrifying incident at woolies.

Today I write this email, about a terrifying incident that took place at Woolworths promenade Mitchells Plain.

On the 16th of November I went to promenade woollies to buy some goods.

with me, I had my almost two year old daughter and some other bags in the trolley. Upon point of Sale I received a phone call from my husband whilst on the phone I had juggled between paying for my goods and speaking on the phone.

As I proceeded to leave the store the security guard calls me back and the cashier is at the door, telling me I had never paid for the cheese that was lying in the trolley beneath my shopping bags.

I then apologised for my human error as this can happen to anybody I mean come on! I was then taken to the back of Woolworths store to be addressed by the manager Ansaar Kraven! I have never ever felt so humiliated in all my life.

This man was accusing me of *****ing from his stock, I tried explaining to him that it was a mistake and I will pay for the cheese, this man then tells the cashier to go through my other bags. (which i had purchased from other stores.) He then tells her to see if I have slips for it.

Oh my god!!! who does this man think he is??? an immediate invasion of my privacy I felt like a complete ******** that had the cheese underneath my jacket trying to run.

he then calls the police and lays a case against me. I then had to proceed with centre management security where police later came to fetch me. I was in the back of a police van with my child, I was placed in a prison cell from the afternoon till 11 O clock the evening.

This experience left me feeling humiliated, traumatised and disgusted in Woolworths management for treating me as if I was the **** of the earth.

not only will I never set foot at any Woolworths branch I will be posting my experience on every social media platform.

I know for a fact that the cashier saw the cheese in my trolley, why didn't she ask or tell me about it???? did she feel that it was her duty to get someone locked up over cheese???

I cant come to terms with what had happened to me, it will probably stay with me for a very long time But I just Want Ansaar and that cashier to know that every dog gets their day and for what they did to me that day, they better pray it doesn't come back to them in two folds.
