Terrible tasting Caramel Swiss role / No GV facili

On 24 March I drove 8 kms off my normal route to go to the WW foodstop at the Engen to use a gift card I received for a few much needed items.. At the till point the cashier embarrasses me by telling me, no gift cards are accepted at foodstops. Single mother, 3 days before pay day, I send my son back to the shelf with some items and use the last money on my bankcards for 2 items. A 3rd item couldnt be processed due to insufficient funds. Thanks WOOLWORTHS, well done! Embarrasing me in front of my 11 year old son and strangers. Why cant gift cards be accepted? Is this not a WOOLWORTHS facility? <br> Then a BIGGER embarrassment the evening at Bible Study. The much treasured Caramel Swiss roll, I bought with my last rands, tasted TERRIBLE. One of my guests said it taste like it had too much baking powder in it. It had a HORRIBLE after taste. The only part that tasted good was the cream and caramel. The cake part was a DISASTER. I thinly sliced this to give all of my 8 guests a slice. I had nothing else to serve them thanks to my gift card dilema earlier. R50 down the drain! R50 rand and the effort and petrol I used in an attempt to give my guests something of good quality. DISGUSTED!
