Terrible Service at Woolworths online customer service

I buy two jerseys online which were on promotion and paid using me bank card. During payment I was asked for the delivery address, which I then put down Woolworths Pavilion store in Durban and also re-iterated under special instructions that the order must be delivered to the Woolworths Pavilion store. There after I selected the option of a faster delivery of 3 days and order was successfully done, I received an order number and waited for my order. This was on the 25th of April 2022, Monday morning. When I checked the order status on Wednesday the holiday, it was noted as out for delivery and to be delivered on the 28th or 29th of April 2022. I called on Thursday the 28th at the Pavilion Mall Woolworths and a lady answered the call and took my order number and cellphone number down and was told that someone would get back to me shortly. This never happened the whole day. On Friday I tried to call the Woolworths Pavilion Mall store again and nobody answered the whole day. Then on Saturday the 30th I went into the store at 11:50 and went straight to customer service to get clarity on the delivery of my order which I paid extra so that i could wear the item on Sunday the 1st. The lady who assisted me called Woolworths online and there after asked me to speak to someone over the phone. Mia Luanne was on the phone with me and told me that she doesn’t know where the order was, that only food items are delivered to Woolworths Pavilion and not fashion items. She then with such attitude told me that I should have written special instructions when making a purchase to give them detail of who was to collect the order at the store. So I asked if all that she is saying is stipulated on the Woolworths order page and she said no but it’s common sense. I asked again if she literally just told me that what she was saying is common sense and she said yes it’s common sense. I then told her I’m out of time and dropped the call afterwards. The audacity of being told that “it’s common sense” So much for holding high standards of the Woolworths brand yet employees speak utter disrespect to customers. I don’t have any direction of this order because she said she’d send an email to their warehouse and ask if the order was there or not because Woolworths Pavilion rejected the order. I am left without the order and money gone without knowing whether this will be resolved or not. This is so fustrating. I later called the customer care line when I got home and the guy I spoke to told me that Mia Luanne was incorrect with her responses so already there is a huge disconnect in Woolworths policies internally. I demand an answer and respect to know what happened to this order and I will never use this service ever again. Order number: o***. I still received an email from Woolworths to tell me that the order was delivered to the Woolworths Pavilion address and asking me to rate the items purchased. Total disconnect of information and technology malfunction. Highly disappointed!!!
