Terrible service

Absolutely disgusting behavior from the staff at WOOLWORTHS Ridgeview. I went to go get a beef brisket yesterday, but when i got to the butchery counter I was told the price was R149.99 per kg and not R69.99 per kg as advertised. The staff tried every excuse from this is only available online (not sure where it stipulates that on this page), to this is only available in Cape Town (again, not sure where that is stipulated). In the end I was told to speak to a very rude and disinterested Foods Departmental Manager by the name of Zanele Matsepe, who appeared to be on a personal call at the time. She was no very interested in assisting me and I felt like I was inconveniencing her. Her attitude was that it is not a product her store carries (again no explanation given) and she refused to honour the price as advertised. She said she would rather have me complain to Head Office then actually resolve my query. I am shocked that this is the level of service offered by Woolworths and their staff. Left empty handed and extremely disappointed. This morning I contacted the call center to try resolve this matter but again, I was treated extremely poorly. The new excuse I received was that I need to login into the Woolworths site to verify if the item is still available at that price and to see which stores stock it. Which is very strange as it should be a standard butchery item (part of the OUR Butcher range). Both the call center agent and her manager thought it was appropriate to try talk over my and at one point yell at me. All because you got it wrong and can't admit you made a mistake. Absolutely pathetic service
