SUBSTANDARD QUALITY OF FRUITS

<p>I have to say i am extremely disappointed in the quslity of fruits that Woolworths had to offer this season. for the amount we pay for those fruits, they have been by far of the most horrible quality.</p> <p> </p> <p>G****s - horrible. it does not matter which Woolies i go to. either they stay on shelf longer than they are supposed to be or they are packaged in the poor qulity they are recieved. usually you will find some spoilt g****s mixed with fresh ones. to top it off, today i bought a box of g****s described as "Seedless", except for the g****s are actually "Seeded" and NOT fresh. problem is that you cannot open the box to inspect the g****s before you buy them since they are heavily sealed, you would have to tear the plastic. For R64.99, THIS IS NOT OKAY!!! the quslity of your fruits this season has deteriorated so badly in comparison to the previous summers. </p> <p>Watermelon - not sweet at all. feels like they were prematurely picked and shelved.</p> <p>Mangoes - most Woolies mix ripe mangoes with those that are not ripe and they package them and say "Ripe and Ready" in a 4 pack, 2 will be ripe and 2 will not. in rare instances 3 will be ripe. i had to ask the manager what it is i must do because i was paying R52 for "Ripe and Ready" mangoes. yet not all of them were ripe. they had to unpack the mangoes in the shop and try and give me ripe ones. This is unacceptable as it is false advertising, thereby contravening the Consumer Protection Act. </p> <p>For the price we pay for your food, it has to be of the same standard as previous years or BETTER!!!nothing less. i have no issue at all paying for quality, fresh food as i have always done at Woolies, but for the **** you are currently selling, it is unacceptable. i am now stuck with a box of seeded g****s that are not fresh, hidden in a sealed "seedles" box. and now some smart person is going to tell me to return them to the store, not taking into account the inconvenience this creates for consumers. the only fruit that has been worth the prize placed on them are your nectarines...the rest, you have fumbled this season! at this stage and on this rate, you are just as bad as Pick n Pay.</p>
