Still waiting for Voucher promised 2 weeks ago!

On the 8th May I was eating a Chicken Bacon Wrap purchased from a Woolworths and whilst chewing I thought this is a bit hard for Bacon. It was a piece of plastic. After "Investigating or in the process of Investigating" I get this email

Dear Mrs CHICKEN BACON WRAP Thank you very much for bringing your complaint to our attention. Please accept our sincere apologies for the disappointment and inconvenience caused. Our technologist was extremely concerned to hear about the matter. The quality and safety of all our products is Woolworths' first priority, and we appreciate it when customers take the trouble to let us know that a purchase has fallen short of our high standard. Following your complaint, we will conduct a full investigation with the manufacturer which involves detailed investigation of all raw materials, all processes in the factory and all quality assurance processes. Any foreign objects picked up are recorded on a problem solution sheet and an imminent investigation is done. Daily glass and hard plastic audits are done, all findings recorded and any foreign objects or risk of foreign objects picked up, are rectified immediately. Weekly & monthly audits are also conducted. The raw materials are procured from reputable audited suppliers with which our factory has an agreed specification with. The raw materials are sieved and sorted before use. Together with the supplier, we will continue to closely monitor quality assurance and control procedures. You will receive a SMS in two working days which entitles you to a gift card to the value of R150 as a gesture of our goodwill. Please present this SMS together with a form of identification to your nearest Woolworths store in order to receive your gift card. If we can be of assistance to you in the future, please do not hesitate to contact us as follows, call us on ***, email ********** or contact us online www.woolworths.co.za. Yours sincerely Alison Marco Customer Care Consultant

I have sent a few emails stating I still haven't received my R150 voucher on SMS. And the same BS in 2 days you will receive an SMS. This is the worst Customer Service I have received. 1. R150 isn't actually worth the inconvenience one is put through or how gross it is to get plastic in your food. (The a Ashley Adams emailed me, and then after my 3rd email that I haven't received my voucher a Shehaam Villette emailed me.

BUT THE TOTAL LYING OF THE VOUCHER shame on you Woolworths. I phoned yesterday and the guy said the lady that does the vouchers wasn't in but she is in and hopefully it will come through yesterday when I phoned in (29/05/2018) and STILL NOTHING.

So Thank you for nothing Woolworths. Such shocking Customer Service where a customer chewed on plastic that came from a wrap!! And this is how you treat them. Absolutely shocking.

Disappointed customer!!!!
