Stay clear of Woolworths online and their supposed specials

Every time they have a special where you have to buy 2 to qualify for between 20% and 35% they only have stock of one item - meaning I don’t qualify. They don’t want to hear about a “rain check” like their competitors. The manager (Martin) is according to the staff never in and despite my number given to them to be passed on to him he never phones back. The latest is an online purchase for 2 Aramis deodorants on special with a discount. The money for 2 was taken off immediately but 2 days later I received an email notifying me only one item will be delivered. I emailed their customer care email address telling them that stores in my area have it in stock ( and that I have been charged for 2 items). Again - no feedback or response. My advice: Don’t buy anything online from Woolworths. They are not geared up for this market. Rather deal with well known companies such as Takealot. At least they respond immediately.
