Something worth 1cent at woolies.That's a joke

Hi there i visited woolies chatsworth centre about 2weeks ago on a sunday at about 12 o clock to exchange a baby blanket I received at my baby shower reason for my exchange was that I received two of the same at the baby shower.the blanket still had the barcode on it.Upon exchange the cashier tells me the barcode is damaged she needs to get another one from the aile.I said that's fine.She scans the blanket again n tells me it's worth 1cent.An the person bought it on sale.She opened the blanket up and still gave it back to me.despite bringing the same blanket from the racks.Same colour and style.Please tell me how something can be worth 1cent in this day and age.I didn't say anything just walked out of he store with the blanket.Very disappointed in woolies.I had received a few of the same gifts from other stores which I exchanged an no other store gave me this nonsense.How something is worth 1cent is unbelievable!!!!
