So disappointed by Country Road Canal walk

What a disappointing service received from Country Road Canal walk last night 10 September. In August i bought myself a pair of leather boots from Country road which cost about R1799. I fell inlove with boots when i saw it. After wearing it for the first time it bruised both my legs on the exact same spot and was very disappointed by this as i really love the boots. I then decided to try it again but could not wear the boots for long because of the discomfort. Last night i decided to return the boots as i was not going to put myself through this pain anymore. I couldn't find the receipt but i purchased the boots using my woolworths credit card and assumed it would not be a problem exchanging or returning the boots. When i got the the till i explained my experience with the boots and that i did not have the receipt but purchased it using my woolies credit card. The cashier said she would have to check with her Team leader who took her about 10 or so minutes to go find her and then only for her to come to the till and having me explain my situation again. The team leader said she would have to call her store manager and he would have to give her the okay to return the boots. After 20 or so minutes the team leader returned to me to inform me that she cannot return the boots as i would have to go to Cavendish as i purchased it there. What? yes what an inconvenience. The team leader also then continued by saying to me i should wear the boots again maybe it would stretch, why would i want to put myself that pain again.

I'm really disappointed by Canal walk country road store that was unable to assist me with the return of the boots purchased at Cavendish store.
