Shrunken in disappointment

Good Evening

I am not one to complain but I need to bring this to your attention as I feel this is not the standard of Woolworths, but definitely lower. I bought a winter dress about 2 weeks ago, I made sure to buy a size bigger so that the dress went to my knees as that's a suitable length to wear to work. I wore it for the first time. Then washed the dress the correct way according to the label attached to the dress.

This passed Friday I put on my clean dress wanting to wear the dress to work and to my horror the dress had shrunk. I don't understand how this could have happened as I washed the dress accordingly. The dresses length is now way above my knees and is definitely not appropriate to wear to work. I am so disappointed and unfortunately this isn't the first time this has happened Woolworths.
