Shopping at Woolies

I have always been a loyal Woolies shopper but over the last few years the customer experience has deteriorated. Now, I experience that the staff do not seem to be as well trained in dealing with customers as they were in the past. This was one aspect of their business which stood head and shoulders above all other supermarket chains. Sadly, this is no longer the case. Also, I am told that they are phasing out plastic bags altogether. Recently, I was told by the cashiers that they could only offer a small plastic bag alternatively, I should purchase one of their shopping bags for R19.
