Shockingly Tardy Service

would like to express my frustration experienced on Saturday morning 11th February 2017.

I popped into Woolworths new store at the Cascades Shopping centre in Pietermaritzburg at approximately 12.00 on my way to Durban. I simply picked up 4 bottles of wine and a pack of Ciabatta Rolls. This took me less then a minute. I then stood in a queue to check out for approximately 8-10 minutes. There were 3 tellers on duty out of the 8 tills present. I asked a Woolworths employee why there were only 3 tellers when the store is so busy. The reply was a nonchalent "they coming". I find this grossly unacceptable on probably the busiest morning of the week, particularly at midday. It was so bad that my husband, who was waiting in the car, started phoning me to find out what on earth the problem was - why was I taking so long??

On my way to Durban I phoned the store from my cell phone to lodge a complaint, whilst on our to Durban but by the time I got to the Chota Motala Bridge on the N3 I gave up holding on for the manager to take my call. I was put through to all sorts of people but when I asked for the manager I was just put on hold indefinitely.

I eventually gave up. Shocking service for a Flagship Store.

Very surprised I have heard nothing with regards to this complaint nearly one month later..............even more shocking that there has been no attempt to rectify the situation!!!
