Shocking store policy.

Today I wanted to return a gift from the Trenery department. It was tagged, but I did not have the till slip. I was bluntly told to take it back to the store where it was bought, which is 50 km away, while our branch also has a Trenery department. If I had told a lie and said that it was bought in our store, there would be no problem. I am shocked by this policy. Surely, Woolworths is this the best you can do???? I happen to know the stats about your shares and position regarding your clothing department. I am extremely disappointed.
