Shocking how Woolworths rip people off, let alone Pensioner!!

Today I took my mother who is 80 to Woolworths Alberton City to exchange a skirt she had purchased in a size 10 in December.

The original tag was still attached with the price R299.

She went and tried on a size 12 which was perfect and on the tag the same amount of R299.

We went to the counter to make the exchange and unfortunately she did not have the slip. They scanned the bar code and advised her this was old stock and the original skirt purchased is now R94. Needless to say they will give her a voucher for the value of R94 and should she want to take the new skirt required to pay in R205.

SHOCKING that the same skirt with the same price tag attached never worn can not be exchanged due to it being December 2020 stock!!!

A total ******* especially for an elderly person who saves her pension monthly to be able to purchase a skirt and then not only cannot change but loses R205 and could not afford to get the skirt as she didn't have the additional funds.

Woolworths would have made R600 on a skirt that only costs R299 by making a Pensioner pay in additional amount.

I honestly thought Woolworths was better than this!!!

Very disappointing.
