Settled 4 months ago but getting lawyers calls

My father who is retired has settled his woolworths in store cars on the 1 Decemeber 2014 already, yet to date he is still receiving calls and sms's from Lawyers saying he has been handed over!!! This is Pathetic... In 4 months has no 1 picked up the payment was made and account has been settled.
