I did a consolidation loan and the financial institution settled my other debts so I could pay just one instalment. I thought the financial institution was going to pay the money to me and I had to pay the debtors directly, Unbeknownst to me they paid Woolworths the total outstanding amount, and I went ahead and transferred R10 000 thinking I was reduce debt , only to find it has already been paid. I then went to Woolworths for a refund and it has been a pain ever since. They 1st requested proof of the R10000, which I gave them and now they want proof that the account was settled by the financial institution. ***??? Y do u even need that, the account is in excess and I want the money refunded, it’s that simple. I then sent them the statement the institution sent me after they paid and they said it’s ‘unacceptable’. Like ***??? 🤬 can Woolworths just close the f***ing account and refund me my money back. I’m done . I initially thought that I was gonna keep the acc, but not anymore, not with this **** service
