Searching at Woolworths

I had an encounter at Woolworths and I clearly indicated that I have a laptop in my bag. Somehow the security still searched my bag and I always go to Woolworths at Mall of Africa and I have never been subjected to such. I felt like a ******** cause I was the only one who was searched. Its also concerning cause I am under the impression that barcodes are used to track items and once it leaves the store the detectors will sense it was not scanned. It's an embras*****t to get such treatment from Woolworths
