Rotten Ox Liver

I purchased ox liver from Woolworths Food, Newcastle Mall, on the 08 January 2016. <br> The expiry date on the packaging was 09 January 2016. <br> <br> Upon preparing to cook the liver, the piece that was packed at the bottom had a brown discoloration and an abnormally soft consistency. This made me suspicious of the freshness. But I cooked the liver and was appalled upon tasting it.<br> <br> All the liver in the packaging is rotten and clearly past the expiry date. My parents agreed with me<br> <br> I'm now dreading possible disease with this expired ox liver that my family and I have ingested. <br> <br> I would like to warn people to be careful especially with meat products from Woolworths Food<br> <br> I also want to know what steps i must take to take this up further
